Enjoy a sit-down dinner and drinks whilst we take a trip down memory lane to celebrate 100 years of EESA. The conference dinner is included in the full 2 day registration. For those with one-day registrations, please note that the conference dinner is not included, however, you have the option to add the conference dinner to your registration for an additional cost of $180 per person. SITE TOUR 1
Walking tour of Sydney's historical electricity system.
This tour will explore the history of electricity in Sydney, the first city in Australia to have electricity. Sydney's early adoption of electric power played a crucial role in the city's development and modernisation, paving the way for other cities across Australia to follow suit.
SITE TOUR 2
A visit to TransGrid's Wallgrove Grid Battery and Control Centre.
The Wallgrove Grid Battery is the first grid-scale battery in NSW and provides the use of synthetic inertia as a network service. These network services help to stabilise the grid, and will become increasingly integral to enable the increase of renewable generation to safely connect to the grid. The battery is connected directly to Transgrid’s transmission network.

Conveniently, all payments can be made online using Visa and Mastercard. Please note that all costs mentioned above are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and include the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
